Changing our products to work for you


Fee-free UK spending

As we continue our time on UK soil, you can continue to use your Caxton Black Card for UK shopping and online payments until 30 June. Your go-to travel companion is now your reliable home buddy.

 

Free secondary card

We’re enabling ALL of our Caxton Card holders to request a Caxton Secondary card for free. The secondary card will be connected to your personal Caxton account, which gives you the ability to load money and track account spending. Just log into your Caxton account and click ‘Get a secondary card’ in the left-hand menu.

 

Increased contactless limit

To help you avoid cash transactions, you are now able to make contactless payments up to the value of £45.


Money for friends and family overseas

Send money abroad with your Caxton Account. Whether it's cash for family and friends overseas or a larger international transfer to complete a purchase, you can move money today with your existing account. To get started just call our dedicated International Payments team on 0333 123 1815 (calls are charged at the local UK rate).

This includes sending money to help family and friends overseas with our ‘instant’ International Payments.

Our customer support team will be on hand and ready to help with any questions or queries you may have. We’re keeping our teams up to date with new information about the COVID-19 outbreak to ensure that we are prepared and adaptable to any changes. 

 

Prioritising the elderly and vulnerable

In our continued efforts to support our customers during this time, we have created a priority phone line for the elderly and vulnerable. We have contacted those that fall into this category separately. If you deem yourself as vulnerable and have not been picked up in our records, please email [email protected] and we'll send you the priority number.

 

Supporting healthcare/medical companies

We want to help all businesses in the healthcare sector. With immediate effect, we’re removing all transaction fees on international payments**. 

Additionally, we are guaranteeing to fast-track new account applications for healthcare providers and importers of medicines or medical supplies.

This means that they will be able to:

  • Send and receive payments to and from their suppliers easily online
  • Issue staff with payment cards to help with emergency online purchases
  • Cover unexpected expenses staff may incur during this time

Giving advice for reducing the spread of Coronavirus


COVID-19 is affecting everyone’s lives in one way or another. We’re in unprecedented and uncertain times to say the least, but there are steps everyone should be taking to reduce the spread of Coronavirus.

The UK government has implemented regulations to ensure that people are staying at home.

You should only leave the house for very limited purposes:

  • shopping for basic necessities, for example food and medicine, as infrequently as possible
  • one form of exercise a day – alone or with members of your household
  • any medical need
  • travelling for work purposes, but only where you cannot work from home

 

The NHS website offers a dedicated page with recommendations on how to stay healthy whilst social distancing:

  • wash your hands with soap and water often – do this for at least 20 seconds
  • use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available
  • wash your hands as soon as you get home
  • cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze
  • put used tissues in the bin immediately and wash your hands afterwards
